Return Rail/Airport Transfers:
Courses have been setup to work with the Ryanair schedule Stansted/Tours (Sunday) we work with a local taxi firm and can arrange a pick up on Sunday afternoon and to drop you off on following Wednesday/Friday morning. Destinations include Tours Airport and Le Mans or Vendome Train stations (please contact us for prices, this depends on the number of people being collected). If you require a transfer on another time or day, please email or telephone (0033 (0) 243 462805 or (0044 (0) 131 202 6080) us to discuss options.
Tours Airport is well serviced by a shuttle service, set-up to meet the Ryanair flights, (leaves 20 mins after arrival) this takes 20 mins to get to Tour train station, where you can take a train to Chateau du Loir, we will pick you up from there for free.
Accommodation is normally onsite, with all inclusive 5 day/nights guests hosted at L’Huilerie as a priority, with cooking and non cooking partners sharing one of our 4 ensuite bedrooms. Under exceptional circumstances, guests may be accommodated at a very pleasant B&B in a village nearby, we will arrange drop off and pick up if required.
Accommodation can be provided for day guests at an additional charge at L’Huilerie (if available) or at the B&B in the next village.
The optimum number of participants on the course is six, but on occasions we may have fewer and maximum ten.
The itinerary may be subject to change according to the seasons in order to take advantage of the seasonal/regional foods.
All inclusive 5 days/nights, prices include accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner on days we are in the kitchen, (1 afternoon and evening off) and dinner on day of arrival.
Non cooking partners, prices include accommodation, breakfast lunch and dinner on days your cooking partner is in the kitchen.
Day courses, prices include day tuition, breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Accommodation is NOT included)
Non refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking with the balance paid 4 weeks prior to your arrival. Payments can be made via Paypal or bank transfers can be made to a British or French bank accounts, full details will be provided on confirmation of numbers and dates.
30% deposit (non refundable) required at booking, if booking is cancelled within 8 weeks of arrival date 50% payment required, if cancelled within 4 weeks of arrival, 100% payment is required.
Children are welcome to come for cooking, 20% discount when sharing the bedroom with their parents. We have 1 room (family room) so possible for 2 parents and 1 child to share.
